An American biographical drama miniseries, created by Michael Tolkin, about the development and production of Francis Ford Coppola's landmark New York City gangster film The Godfather (1972) for Paramount Pictures.

The show demanded realistic historical details, so CBS reached into its digital library and built two city blocks of 1970’s New York. This included the famous Carroll Gardens district that needed many car replacements with CG automobiles, featuring a 1966 Ford Mustang, 1971 Ford LTD, 1967 Lincoln Continental.

Also, the early days of Francis Ford Coppola at the studio required the Paramount Pictures backlot and iconic gates to be modified to reflect the era.
