ROAR is an eight-episode anthology series, created by GLOW's Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, where each half-hour episode tells a story that explores feminist themes in some strange but interesting ways.

This episode is about possession and feeling like you belong to someone else as a “trophy wife” rather than an individual. Amelia, after using a ladder to get up there, finds herself stuck day and night. Having had enough she jumps.

The climactic moment is time stretched into a vertigo moment ala Hitchcock. As she jumps the set expands like an elevator shaft into a terrifying never-ending fall.

CBS-VFX built and exact digital double of the entire pink mansion interior. Recreated down to the smallest detail. We matched even the lamps and set pieces to the original set design so the virtual set could be seamlessly married with the actual set. The only physical set piece was Amelia’s shelf. This allowed the director to design the most immersive shots including the mind-bending expanding room.
